After a day full of turkey and overbearing relatives, Bonnaroovians will be able to relax and relive their favorite moments on “The Farm” with VH1’s A Very Bonnaroo Thanksgiving.
The music video channel that plays slightly more music than MTV is teaming up with the festival for two-hour special featuring archived performances of past ‘Roo acts including Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Mumford & Sons and more, according to the festival’s website.
Those who missed this year’s festival will be happy to know that portions from Elton John and Jack White‘s headlining sets will be broadcast, as well.
The special airs Thursday at 8 p.m. and will also feature segments with Bonnaroo groundskeeper Dale as he looks after the festival’s 700-acre Manchester, Tennessee farm.
A Very Bonnaroo Thanksgiving will lead up to the Bonnaroo 2015 pre-sale which begins the following morning at 11 a.m.
