Shooting at Murfreesboro Bar Leaves One Critically Injured

A man was shot numerous times at a bar on Greenland Drive early Friday morning and was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital for his injuries, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department.

The shooting occurred early in the morning in the parking lot of Gentleman Jim’s Bar and Grill, just north of Middle Tennessee State University’s campus, according to the incident report.

According to the report, the victim was  shot six times and is currently listed under critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The extent and severity of his injuries are not known at this time.

The shooter has yet to be apprehended.
