Student reports sexual assault at Student Quarters apartments

An MTSU student was reportedly sexually assaulted earlier this month at the Student Quarters apartment complex on South Rutherford Boulevard, according to Murfreesboro police.

Police responded to the complex on Tuesday and made contact with the student, who said she was sexually assaulted by an acquantanice on April 9. Detectives arrived and begin an investigation on the incident.

The suspect’s name has not been released at this time.
