Long before there were memes, there were comic strips.
From light-hearted favorites like Garfield and Peanuts to social commentaries like Doonesbury and Pearls Before Swine, the “funnies” have always been a staple of both the comedic and journalistic worlds.
To revive the forgotten newspaper tradition, MTSU Freshman Jake Stone will be drawing a bi-weekly cartoon for mtsusidelines.com which will also run monthly in Sidelines news magazine.
