In light of threats of defunding Planned Parenthood, some local Nashville rock bands are doing their part to show support for the program with a benefit concert at the Exit/In in Nashville on Saturday, March 25.
The bands putting on the benefit include heavy rock ’n’ roll band Thelma and the Sleaze; indie surf rock band Boyscott; garage/punk band Butthole; and lyrically driven indie rock band Cold Creeks.
Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be found online in advance on Ticketfly. All proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood. Their staff will also be accepting donations at the venue. They will be there handing out condoms and answering questions.
