Schedule for MTSU Homecoming 2014 Announced

Homecoming at MTSU will take place October 18, coinciding with the Blue Riders’ game against the University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazers.

“Homecoming is really just a welcome back for all MTSU’s alumni,” said Gabrielle Woodland, the Student Government Association’s Vice President of Campus Relations. She called the college tradition “one of the first huge events that take place on campus that will bring all the students together.”

Applications to run for Homecoming king or queen are due by Monday, Sept. 8 at 4:00 p.m. Qualified Candidates may begin campaigning on the Friday the 19th.

Elections run from Monday, Sept. 29th through Thursday, Oct. 2. Results will be published the following day.

King and Queen will be announced during halftime at the Blazers game.
