The MTSU Student Government Association passed a bill at the Thursday, October 9 formal meeting to begin opening all campus parking lots to all parking passes on weekends and at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The resolution’s sponsor, Senator Katherine Barber, presented the idea with the hopes of erasing confusion among the MTSU community about which parking lots open to the public at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., as well as to make parking more convenient for students with night classes.

The bill passed by a voice vote with no objections.
