Murfreesboro Police responded to a call about an attempted kidnapping at the Altitude Apartments off Bradyville Parkway early Wednesday morning, according a police report.

The complainant, Percia McFarrin, 26, told police that she was walking to her apartment around 1 a.m. when an unknown Hispanic male “came from around the side of the building and began walking toward her.”

As he approached her, he grabbed her by the arm and “attempted to drag her.” The woman cried for help and managed to pull away, according to the report.

McFarrin reported that the suspect “fled the scene on foot” and then she contacted police.

The suspect is said to be between 5’5” and 5’6”, slim build, and was wearing a gray hoodie and dark pants.
