MTSU’s Head of Veteran Affairs, Ret. Lt. Gen. Keith Huber, delivered the first pitch at the Nashville Sounds baseball game Wednesday night.
It was “True Blue Night” at First Bank Park and the first 1,000 fans to visit the MTSU tents on site received a free T-shirt.
The Sounds secured a 2-0 victory over Colorado Springs’ Sky Sox, with Sounds pitcher Nathan Long delivering seven shut-out innings. This was only Long’s second game as a starter.
The Sounds and Sky Sox play the third game of their series on Thursday night at First Tennessee Park.
