As Super Tuesday results were announced, MTSU students began sounding off on campus about their views on Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

With Trump securing 39 percent of Republican votes and Hillary obtaining 66 percent of the Democratic votes, students were surprised at the outcome.

Most students who were interviewed didn’t expect Clinton to win, though they conceded that she would be a decent president. The negative opinion on Trump was unanimous, with phrases such as “racist” and “cartoon character” being used to describe him.
