Chloe and Halle Bailey, two sisters known to the world simply as Chloe x Halle released their mixtape “The Two of Us” Thursday night.

The YouTube sensations/Beyoncé prodigies debuted their EP “Sugar Symphony” last April. Fans were left waiting for more music from the talented duo. Chloe x Halle did not disappoint, singing angelic harmonies and even splashing in raps by the duo. This mixtape let it be known that they are a force to be reckoned with.

The mixtape opens with “We Used To Love,” a great opening to this body of work. The track provides a great idea of the magical sounds to expect from the rest of the project.

The song “Simple” is a response to critics who say that the duo sings lyrics too complex for people to understand. This song is incredibly catchy and boasts a hilariously sarcastic tone. Each song contributes to making the mixtape a fluid piece.

The lyrics written by the Bailey sisters are nothing short of amazing, making the project that much more impressive to audiences. So far, the mixtape is only available through Soundcloud and YouTube. However, media and fans are loving the mixtape, wishing it was available for purchase on other music services.
I’m absolutely in love with this mixtape and wish I could buy a copy for myself.
