MTSU SPARE and SGA announced on Monday that GloRilla will be headlining the 2026 Signature Event concert on April 29 in Murphy Center. Bktherula is set to be the opener.
Gloria Woods uses the stage name GloRilla and is a Memphis, Tennessee, native most known for her hit songs “Yeah Glo!,” “Tomorrow” and “TGIF.” She topped the Billboard charts after her feature on “F.N.F (Let’s Go)” went viral on TikTok and became the 2022 summer anthem.
Brooklyn Rodriguez, stage name Bktherula, is a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. She is known for her song “Tweakin’ Together,” which went viral in 2020.
For tickets to the event, students must bring their MyMT Pass to Floyd Stadium gate 1-A to redeem their student ticket. The ticket office will be open on weekdays starting on Monday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Staff and faculty tickets will be available at gate 1-A of Floyd Stadium and will require that those picking up their tickets bring their MTSU ID. Alumni should visit the alumni website for more details on how to claim their tickets.
Students, faculty, staff and alumni can each claim one guest ticket. If enough tickets remain after students claim them, tickets will be available for guests, alumni, faculty and staff starting April 13.
All tickets are for general seating and do not include seat assignments. Students can upgrade their tickets to floor passes, which will be available Monday, April 27, and Tuesday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Student Union Commons.
