On the week’s edition of “Sidelines FM,” we talked about the album that has taken the hip-hop community by storm of the last week, Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly.
We played three standouts from the jazz/funk-inspired concept album, then went into tracks from one of Lamar’s biggest inspiration’s, 2pac.
The rest of the show emphasized new hip-hop tracks, including Kanye West’s “All Day” and Drake’s “Know Yourself.”
