Murfreesboro Police responded to a vandalism at a residence on Hunt Street, in which the words “KKK” and “White Power” were spraypainted within the residence.

Upon arrival to the scene, an officer made contact with the victim. The victim stated that, at some point between 6:30 p.m. on Friday and 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, someone kicked in the back door of his residence and began to spray paint inside. Words and symbols, such as “White Power,” “WP,” “KKK,” “No entry for you” and swastikas, were spray painted by the suspect.

A “White Lives Matter” rally was planned for Murfreesboro on Saturday, but it is unknown if the vandalism is related to the planned rally, which was eventually canceled. A detective then arrived on the scene and took pictures of the vandalism.
