Chance of more snow hitting Middle Tennessee tonight

Scattered snow showers are possible throughout the day on Wednesday and before midnight in the Nashville and Murfreesboro area, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a 50 percent chance of further precipitation today and 40 percent chance of snow showers for tonight with snow accumulation of less than half an inch.

Temperatures today are not expected to rise above 29 degrees and could drop as low as 22 degrees by tonight.

Thursday’s forecast is mostly cloudy with a high near 41 degrees and a low of 21 degrees.

By Friday temperatures could reach 44 degrees with partly cloudy conditions.
