Artist and MTSU student Sarah Growden showcased her “Eric the Doll” art exhibit at Moxie Art Supply on Friday evening.

Eric  is a character created by Growden, who runs an Instagram account dedicated to the doll’s everyday life.

The gallery contained many comical elements within the exhibit, including Eric the Doll posters, trophies and a list of the doll’s talents.

The doll himself was also featured in the exhibit dressed in black and white with a gold chain around his neck.

Inspired by the look of one of Growden’s friends and fellow students, Eric Sims, Eric the Doll is is almost a small world within itself

“I told Eric Sims that I was going to make a doll who looked like him and then it became this alter ego,” she said. “He taught Kanye everything he knows.”
