WMTS Murfreesboro, who helps curate our weekly concert calendar and is the home to our radio show “Sidelines FM,” is gearing up for the spring semester.
They’ll be holding their winter benefit concert on Feb. 20 at Mayday Brewery with performances from That’s My Kid, Sunracer, TSUYU and Housecat. They’ll also be sponsoring a record show with details TBA.
But first, they’re searching for spring interns to help fill the airwaves. Interns work with a WMTS DJ all semester, receiving meaningful hands-on experience that will allow them to become on-air personalities themselves the following semester. Their two-night interest meeting is this week and will let you know what it takes to become a DJ.
