Murfreesboro Police Respond to Aggravated Assault and Attempted Robbery

Murfreesboro Police responded to an aggravated robbery call off of Kings Highway on Friday evening around 9 p.m.

According to the incident report, an officer arrived on scene after a 25 year-old woman reported that a man had tried to bust her car window before leaning in the car and saying, “give me the money.”

The victim told police that the suspect held a gun to her head until she told him that she did not have any money, at which point the suspect struck her in the head with the weapon.

The victim described the suspect as a black male wearing an orange shirt, black pants and a baseball cap.

The suspect has not been apprehended at this time.
