Due to a broken gasket, MTSU has shut down all of their hot water and heating today for repairs.

The heat was turned off around 8:30 a.m. and will remain off for approximately six hours. Though the campus-wide hot water and heat are unavailable, vice provost of student affairs, Debra Sells, wrote in a Facebook post that the Student Union, Rec Center and Science Building will be running off of back-up generators.
