MTSU used their bullpen early and often throughout the game. Sophomore Tanner McDivitt pitched three innings for the Blue Raiders, while sophomore Reid Clements pitched two innings.

Juniors Will Jackson and Will Small each pitched one inning, giving up a low one combined earned run. The Blue Raiders’ pitching staff gave up 13 hits, while giving up seven runs, all earned.

On the offensive side, junior Aaron Aucker led the Blue Raiders with three hits. Aucker tallied two runs and two RBI. Freshman Blake Benefield and junior Riley Delgado each had two hits. MTSU tallied 13 total hits, but they were unable to string together hits.

The Blue Raiders will look to sure up their pitching and produce more offensively when they return home, as Middle Tennessee will host the Charlotte 49ers on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
