Netflix’s “Building the Band” winners 3Quency and third-place group Soulidified are touring the U.S., delivering stunning harmonies, vocals, and performances that are out of this world.
“Building the Band” is a reality singing competition that aired on Netflix in July 2025, where aspiring singers from all over form a band with one another based solely on voice chemistry. The auditions are blind, and contestants can only hear each other’s voices, not seeing their appearance until the group is locked in. Six newly formed bands will continue through stages, with an elimination during each one, and the winner receives $500,000, split between the members. Guest judges from famous groups help guide the bands towards success.
The show quickly gained popularity because of its unique premise, fast-paced nature and for challenging the “looks matter” narrative that is seen with many band formations. The show also gained viewers due to guest judge Liam Payne, a member of the retired boy band One Direction, who had passed away after filming but before the show aired on Netflix. Many came to see Payne’s involvement and stayed for the competition.

“My mom was obsessed with the show and begged me to watch it, and I did, got obsessed, and started following them all on social media,” Emma Graves, audience member at the Nashville, Tennessee, show, said. “I saw they were going on tour and knew I had to go.”
During the show, groups had to bond by sharing an apartment to build a closer bond as they went through rehearsals and live performances together. With this came a lot of drama and conflict from some bands, but it also made it clear which bands clicked.
The show not only brought many talented people into the spotlight but also brought them together to form the chemistry of a lifetime. The bands 3Quency and Soulidified can attest to that.
Winners of the show, Brianna Mazzola, Nori Moore and Wennely Quezada, formed the girl group 3Quency. The three girls, although from different places, had a connection that was palpable through the screen. Each of them has amazing, unique tones, but together they create gorgeous harmonies. Since the show, they have made original songs, “Top Down” and “Once I Was A Good Girl,” and perform them on tour. The trio incorporates the styles of R&B and pop into their music and has a similar vibe to Destiny’s Child, vocal-wise.
“We really get to shape what this looks like moving forward, and it’s gonna make endless possibilities possible,” Mazolla said on the show in response to winning.
The boy band, Soulidified, may not have won, but made a mark on the viewers. Members Bradley Rittmann, Landon Boyce, Malik Heard and Shade Jenifer all brought on the star power needed to gain attention after the show. The band brings *NSYNC combined with One Direction to 2025 with their style and group dynamic. Earlier in their time on “Building the Band,” they seemed like an unlikely match, but soon proved to be a match made in R&B heaven.
“I binged the show with my friend and we fell in love with Soulidified,” Rosie Navarrete, an audience member at the Nashville show, said.

Bandemonium, the name of the tour, presented 3Quency as the headliner and Soulidified as the opener. Both had a setlist filled with original songs and covers that they performed on the show, like “Bye Bye Bye” by *NSYNC performed by Soulidified and “bad guy” by Billie Eilish performed by 3Quency. Fans of the show were excited to see these covers live and were thrilled to see each member of both bands give a solo performance as well, showing off their powerful voices separately.
During the concert, Soulidified paid tribute to the late Liam Payne with One Direction’s song “Little Things,” making the atmosphere teary-eyed and emotional.
“There’s one person that we’d like to honor tonight who really believed in us,” Bradley said before singing in Payne’s honor.
Payne recognized similarities between Soulidified and One Direction and took them under his wing throughout the competition.
“I’ve been standing exactly where you guys are now … thought it was the end of One Direction,” Payne said to them in response to being eliminated, “It was not, I believe in you guys, and I meant it when I said that.”
The concert ended with 3Quency faking to leave the stage, saying goodbyes, without performing their first original song “Top Down,” but they snuck back onto the stage to do an encore.
