Murfreesboro Police responded to a vandalism call Tuesday night at Campus Crossings Apartments.

Upon arrival, police reported walking up to an apartment unit and observing a female walk back into the unit and close the door. Once the officer was inside of the unit, he reported seeing damage done to one of the bedroom doors, which included a large hole.

The occupant of the bedroom was heading back to Murfreesboro from Nashville when the incident occurred. She allegedly had received a text message from one of her roommates stating that she would kick in the occupant’s bedroom door to retrieve a pair of shoes. The occupant then contacted the police while on her way from Nashville. The roommate did confirm to police that she did have shoes in the occupant’s bedroom.

The bedroom occupant was advised on how to obtain a warrant. No one was arrested in the process.
