Los Angeles indie outfit Grouplove brought their Big Mess tour to Cannery Ballroom in Nashville, Tenn., on Saturday along with guests Dilly Dally and MUNA.

Fresh off the release of “Big Mess” on Sept. 9, 2016, the five-piece sold out the show and was high-energy from beginning to end, jumping, dancing and crowd surfing. Band members Hannah Hooper and Christian Zucconi came off stage to interact with fans at several points; Zucconi even crowd surfed within the first three songs.

The group’s bubbly pop sound infiltrated the full capacity venue, turning it into a big group dance party that never slowed down.

They played new tracks as well as old hits such as “Hippy Hill,” “Shark Attack,” “Borderlines and Aliens” and chart-topping favorite “Tongue Tied.”
