MTSU to close at 1:45 PM for Incoming Inclement Weather

Hopefully Professors at MTSU made the most of their Thursday classes.

The university will close at 1:45 p.m. in anticipation of “approaching inclement weather,” according to an MTSU Alert.

Only services essential to public safety will remain open.

While no official decision has been made about whether the University will stay open Saturday, the alert urges students to use their own discretion, an faculty to accommodate students who say they cannot safely make it to class.

In addition to the alerts that are sent to all MTSU email addresses, updates on weather-related closings can be found on the University website, Twitter feed, emergency hotline (615-898-2000), as well as by listening to WMOT 89.5, WQQK 92.1, WGNS 100.5 and AM station WLAC 1510.

And, of course, Sidelines on twitter @sidelines_news and Facebook at MTSU Sidelines.
