Revered fast-spitting MC Twista and rock band Saving Abel have announced concerts at local nightclub TEMPT.

Twista, who’s known for his tongue-twisting flow, will perform at 9 p.m. on April 24. The 41-year-old rapper has been releasing albums since 1992, with his commercial peak coming with his 2004 album Kamikaze. The album included the hit “Slow Jamz,” which featured Kanye West and Jamie Foxx and also appeared on West’s debut album The College Dropout.

Mississippi rockers Saving Abel achieved commercial success when the singles “Addicted” and “18 Days” from their self-titled debut album dominated mainstream rock radio during the late 2000s. However, the band will be appearing without their original lead singer Jared Weeks, as he left the group in 2013. The show will take place March 19 at 8 p.m. with The Acorn People and another yet-to-be confirmed local act serving as openers.

TEMPT is located just off the Murfreesboro square at 315 West Main St. Tickets for both shows can be found on the TEMPT Murfreesboro Facebook page.
