Murfreesboro Police respond to bomb threat at Cell Tone Plus

Murfreesboro Police Department responded to reports of a bomb threat at Cell Tone Plus on Tuesday around 3 p.m.

The storeowner reported that a known customer called the store regarding a $10 deposit for a pair of headphones. The owner believed that the customer was trying to obtain the money through fraudulent means, but obliged to give his money back.

The customer was upset and hung up the phone, however, the storeowner reported that the customer called back, and said, “You don’t know how to run a business, n****. You’re a dead n****, anyway. I’m gonna shoot you in the face and blow your store up.”

The suspect, known by the storeowner through a friend, is described as a white male, 23, around 5’*” and 200 lbs.

No arrests have been made at this time.
