Final: Missed free throws late by multiple Blue Raiders shut down the chance of a comeback. Torey Alston went 2-of-4 after a flagrant one foul and a common foul. Sean Smith went 2-of-4 after two trips to the line late. LA Tech was able to ice the game at the line going 4-of-4 in the final minute. The Bulldogs win 80-69.
Middle Tennessee gets set to take on Louisiana Tech in the Conference USA quarterfinals. Both teams won its respective home games during the regular season with MTSU breaking its team three point record. LA Tech narrowly pulled off a one point victory in Ruston, Louisiana.
