Voters took to the polls Tuesday to cast ballots for candidates in local, state and national elections.
Tennessee races include U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives and Tennessee State House. Although a historically red supermajority, Tennessee election results are powered by local voters.

11:01 p.m. — Reneau called for Tennessee U.S. House District 27
Republican Michele Reneau won Tennessee House District 27, according to the Tennessee Secretary of State website. Reneau defeated Democrat Kathy Lennon to replace the incumbent Representative, Patsy Hazelwood, who Reneau narrowly ousted in the primary in August. Andrew Holmes
10:50 p.m. — Campbell called for Tennessee U.S. Senate District 20
Democrat Heidi Campbell won Tennessee Senate District 20, according to the Tennessee Secretary of State website. Campbell, who has represented District 20 since 2020 and was the first person to flip a Senate seat in two decades, defeated Republican Wyatt Rampy. Victoria Stone
10:45 p.m. — Brooks called for Tennessee U.S. House District 60
Democrat Shaundelle Brooks won Tennessee House District 60, according to the Tennessee Secretary of State website. Brooks defeated Republican Chad Bobo in a bid to replace the retiring Representative, Darren Jernigan. Marim Abbas, Matthew Olson
10:40 p.m. — Davis called for Tennessee U.S. House District 18
Republican Elaine Davis won Tennessee House District 18, according to the Tennessee Secretary of State website. Davis, who has represented District 18 since 2022, defeated Democrat Bryan Goldberg. Bailey Brantingham, Kameron Scott
10:14 p.m. — Sparks called for Tennessee U.S. House District 49
Republican Mike Sparks won Tennessee House District 49, according to the Tennessee Secretary of State website. Sparks, who has represented District 49 since 2010, defeated Democrat Luis Mata. Bailey Brantingham, Kameron Scott
10:14 p.m. — Baum called for Tennessee U.S. House District 37
Republican Charlie Baum won Tennessee House District 37, according to the Tennessee Secretary of State website. Baum, an MTSU professor of economics who has governed the district 37 since 2018, defeated Democrat Cheri Brown. Bailey Brantingham, Kameron Scott
9:28 p.m. — Terry called for Tennessee U.S. House District 48
The Associated Press called Tennessee House District 48 for Republican Bryan Terry. Terry, who has represented District 48 since 2014, defeated Democrat Matt Ferry. Bailey Brantingham, Kameron Scott
8:46 p.m. — Ogles called for Tennessee U.S. House Congressional District 5
The Associated Press called the Tennessee 5th Congressional District race for Republican Andy Ogles. Ogles, who’s represented the 5th District since 2022, defeated Democrat Maryam Abolfazli in a race many saw as a potential upset. Bailey Brantingham, Kameron Scott
7:29 p.m. — DesJarlais called for Tennessee U.S. House Congressional District 4
The Associated Press called the Tennessee 4th Congressional District race for Republican Scott DesJarlais. DesJarlais, who’s represented the 4th District since 2011, defeated Democrat Victoria Broderick. Bailey Brantingham, Kameron Scott
7:01 p.m. — Blackburn called for Tennessee
The Associated Press called the Tennessee Senate race for Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn. She easily won re-election against Democratic State Rep. Gloria Johnson. Blackburn was originally elected to the position in 2018. Bailey Brantingham, Kameron Scott
7:01 p.m. — Trump called for Tennessee
The Associated Press called Tennessee for Republican candidate Donald Trump. He now has Tennessee’s 11 electoral votes, making his total 95. This continues the winning streak for the Republicans in the state, as no Democrat has won Tennessee since 1996. Bailey Brantingham, Kameron Scott
