MTSU SGA Senate votes to increase student activity fee

MTSU’s Student Government Association held their final senate meeting of the semester Thursday to pass legislation increasing the student activity fee and discussed housing plans with Michelle Safewright, director of MTSU Housing and Residential Life.

MTSU American Democracy Project hosts Party at the Polls on Election Day

MTSU out-of-state students registered to vote in Tennessee misunderstand ID requirements, forced to vote provisionally

Many MTSU out-of-state students voted provisionally on Nov. 5 because they were unaware that state law requires voters to present a valid Tennessee photo ID or federal ID, such as a passport, for their ballot to be counted.

Honors College hosts presidential debate party to inform and prepare MTSU voters

The MTSU Honors College hosted a presidential debate watch party in the Paul W. Martin Sr. Honors building Tuesday night. Organizers invited the MTSU Department of Political and Global Affairs, as well as all Honors College students.
