Raider’s Ridge Apartment Office Wall Set on Fire

Murfreesboro police were dispatched to Raider’s Ridge Apartments in reference to a burglary on Monday morning, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department.

Upon arrival, officers were advised by the complainant, Taylor Morales, 22, that a “wall in the office had been burned on the surface” sometime between when the apartment office closed at eight on Sunday night and reopened at nine Monday morning, according to the incident report.

Further investigation revealed a subject(s), unknown to the Morales, had broken a window of an outside door that lead into an apartment attached to the main office. Once the subject(s) were inside the main office, the “subject(s) attempted to burn a wall inside the office”, according to the police report.

It is unknown if multiple individuals are involved in the arson attempts.

Assistant Fire Marshal Tracy Summar was called to the scene for inspection.
