A man was arrested on charges of possession of a counterfeited controlled substance as well as other paraphernalia in a drug free school zone on Saturday, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department.
Danny Gibbs Jr., 27, was taken into custody after he was discovered asleep in his van while in a traffic lane, and a search of his person revealed a glass pipe and a small bag containing a white substance.
Gibbs admitted the pipe was used to smoke crack cocaine and that the bag contained mint that he intended to sell as if it were cocaine.
The incident occurred beside Blackman Elementary School around 7 a.m.
