Murfreesboro Police respond to shooting, gunshot victim at College Grove Apartments

Murfreesboro Police responded to a shooting of one victim at College Grove Apartments on Lascasses Pike Saturday afternoon.

Upon arrival, an officer made contact with the victim who had a gunshot wound in his abdomen. The officer established a crime scene and blocked off the surrounding area.

Emergency Medical Services then arrived on the scene to transport the victim to Vanderbilt University Medical Hospital.

Detectives were notified and arrived on the scene to take over the investigation.

There are no known suspects at this time.
