Crime: Body found on Hope Way identified as Blair Yvonne Alexander

Murfreesboro Police released the identity of the body that was found off of West College Street on Hope Way Saturday morning.

According to an MPD press release, the victim was identified as Blair Yvonne Alexander, 24. Alexander was last seen alive Friday at the Murfreesboro Motel on Northwest Broad Street at approximately 11:30 a.m. Upon her death, she was carrying several bags that contained clothing. Anyone who had contact with Alexander or has any information regarding her death is encouraged to call Rutherford County Crime Stoppers at 615-893-7867 or Murfreesboro Police Detective Sergeant Tommy Massey at 615-893-1311.

The release also states that the investigation is still ongoing, and the case is being considered a “suspicious death” at this time.
