Murfreesboro Police responded to a shooting at The Pointe at Raiders Campus on Wednesday at approximately 7:55 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with a witness. The witness stated that he heard four to five shots outside of his apartment. After an investigation of the area, officers found one shell casing in the parking lot. Another witness stated to police that, around the time of the shooting, a woman in a silver vehicle drove out of the apartment complex at a high rate of speed and yelled, “Oh, hell nah. They got me f—– up.” The second witness did not see the shots being fired, however. No property damage was visible in the complex.
