MTSU will operate remotely on Monday because of inclement weather, according to the MTSU critical alert system. The alert instructed faculty to contact students through MTSU email about any class requirements.
McCallie Dining Hall intends to remain open Monday, but hours may vary depending on weather severity, Jimmy Hart, the senior director of MTSU news and media relations, said.
The university will determine Tuesday’s operation status after looking at the conditions on Sunday, the alert said.
Any MTSU staff will receive communication from supervisors. The MTSU alert said only essential personnel should come to campus, but not if staff members believe their travel is too dangerous. Essential services include MTSU police and utilities, Hart said.
