Constitution Day, is celebrated across MTSU’s campus in honor of the freedoms provided to Americans on September 17, 1787.

On this day, students, faculty and community members gather at different colleges throughout the university to read and discuss the Constitution and the powers it provides.

Along with the readings, various voters registration tables, sponsored by the American Democracy Project, are set up across campus to encourage students to register to vote.
