Diane Fox’s UnNatural History photography exhibit opened Monday in the Baldwin Photographic Gallery, located in the John Bragg Mass Communication Building.

The exhibit features photographs of animal displays from taxidermy shops and natural history museums around the world.

These photographs are designed to address the distance between animals and humans. Each photo in the exhibit is a portrait of the featured animal, such as a monkey, fox or zebra. These portraits are designed to emphasize the animal’s living history, even after death.

Fox will be giving a lecture on November 13 at 7 p.m. in Mass Comm 104.

UnNatural History will be displayed  in the gallery until Dec. 10.
