This week’s edition of “Sidelines FM,” was our most random yet.

We opened the show with a plethora of winter-themed tracks to go along with last week’s snow storm.

In addition to cheesy numbers from Vanilla Ice, Frank Sinatra and Foreigner, we played a track from the Frozen soundtrack to go along with our feature on MTSU Student Allie Phillips, who brings Elsa alive for local children.

We also included a “Today in Music History” segment curated by our intern Phillip Grand and a block of new music from Death Cab for Cutie, Passion Pit, Alabama Shakes and Courtney Barnett.

“Sidelines FM” airs weekly on 88.3 WMTS Murfreesboro from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
