Man Assaulted with sandwich on Old Fort Parkway

Murfreesboro Police responded to a road rage situation Tuesday on Old Fort Parkway, where a man reported having been assaulted with a sandwich.

The victim and the assailant, both stated that the other had assaulted them.

The incident began when assailant cut the victim off at an intersection and the two began to argue in the roadway. The assailant then threw his sandwich at the victim, according to the victim’s report.

The assailant reported that he threw his sandwich over the victim and denied any form of assault.

Both parties had witnesses and refused medical treatment. No physical signs of assault were visible.
