Armed Robbery at MTSU Scarlett Commons

An armed robbery was reported at MTSU’s Scarlett Commons Building 1 on Friday night, according to an alert sent out by MTSU.

One suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’6″, wearing a red hoodie. The other suspect was described as a light skinned black male, approximately 5’10”, wearing a beanie, and has tattoos on his face. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun, according to an e-mail alert from MTSU.

The text and email alerts instructed students to “leave that area immediately and stay away”.

If students see any suspicious activity they should report it to MTSU Police at 615-898-2424.
