Shots fired at Cook Out on Sunday

Murfreesboro Police responded to a report of shots fired at Cook Out on South Rutherford Boulevard on Sunday.

Officers arrived on the scene at approximately 12:32 a.m. and made contact with restaurant manager Jesse Ross. Ross said he was outside and heard multiple gunshots, followed by two vehicles rapidly leaving the area.

Detectives arrived on the scene to investigate and discovered eight .40 caliber shell casings in the parking lot.

There are no suspects at this time.
