Murfreesboro Police responded to an alleged theft of an MTSU student’s wallet from Cook Out on Sunday.

The victim told police she went to Cook Out around 6 p.m. and during their visit she left her wallet on top of the bathroom hand dryer. Upon leaving the restaurant, the student noticed that she did not have her wallet and went back to get it.

When she returned to the bathroom, the student found that her wallet was not there. She told police that she noticed an employee hurrying to a white SUV and then quickly return. The manager told police there was video footage, but that they did not have access to it.

No arrests have been made at this time.
