Crime: Murfreesboro Police respond to shooting on Bradyville Pike

Murfreesboro Police responded to a shooting on Bradyville Pike on Saturday at approximately 5:20 p.m.

Upon arrival, police made contact with the victim. The victim stated that two men, who were armed with handguns, robbed the victim and the victim’s son. While the victim was being robbed, one of the suspects shot the victim in the left hand.

Emergency Medical Services arrived and transported the victim and his son to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital for treatment. The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit investigated the scene.

The Criminal Investigation Department then arrived on the scene and took over the investigation.
