Murfreesboro Police released the identity of the woman who was found dead in the wooded area adjacent to Blackman Elementary School Saturday evening.

According to a Murfreesboro Police Department press release, the decedent was Murfreesboro resident Carol Brandon, 65. The release also states that Brandon has had a history of issues with the department, including incidents in which she disappeared from her home for extended periods of time and mental health issues.
