MTSU head coach Derek Mason is parting ways with offensive coordinator Bodie Reeder, according to a report from John Brice of FootballScoops.com on Tuesday.
In two years under Reeder, the Blue Raiders’ offense averaged 20.3 points per game and never scored more than 32 points in a single contest.
Reeder is now the second firing from MTSU’s staff this year, as Mason parted ways with wide receivers coach Cornelius Williams on Nov. 11. Middle Tennessee concluded the 2025 season on a two-game winning streak back on Nov. 29 but finished 3-9 for the second straight year under Mason.
Reeder began his coaching career in the Football Championship Subdivision as a defensive graduate assistant at his alma mater of Eastern Illinois University in 2010, and most recently held the offensive coordinator role at the University of Northern Iowa from 2022-23.
