MTSU will remain remote through Wednesday, according to an MTSU critical alert sent Monday evening. Any decisions about continuing with remote operations will be made by the university in the coming days.
McCallie Dining Hall will remain open, like Monday and Tuesday, but hours may vary. More information about hours is available through MT Dining’s social media or website.
Only essential services, including MTSU police and facilities, are to report to campus. If an essential worker cannot safely make it to campus, the alert instructs them to contact their supervisor.
Main roads in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, are clear, but side roads remain icy and dangerous to drive on, according to Murfreesboro Mayor Shane McFarland in a social media post Monday.
The winter storm hitting much of the South has already moved MTSU operations to remote for Monday and Tuesday. MTSU’s move to remote is part of its Instructional Continuity Plan.
