Crime: Murfreesboro Police investigating body found near Blackman Elementary School

Murfreesboro Police are currently investigating the unattended death of an adult woman, whose body was found in the wooded area adjacent to Blackman Elementary School on Sunday evening.

According to an MPD press release, the cause of death is unknown at this time, and the investigation is ongoing. The release also states that the victim is believed to have no connection to the school.
