Crime: Three people shot at student apartment complex

Three people were rushed to the hospital late Sunday night after a shooting at a Murfreesboro apartment complex, according to a press release from the Murfreesboro Police Department.

The gunman is still on the run.

According to the statement, police were called to The Pointe at Raiders Campus Apartments, 2315 N. Tennessee Blvd., around 11:30 p.m. last night, where they found three male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Their identities have not been released.

One victim was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center via helicopter, another was taken by ambulance with the Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services, and the third was taken to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital by RCEMS with minor injuries.

The condition of the first two victims remains unknown at this time.
