One person was injured in a shooting near East Main Street early Sunday morning.

Campus police said on Sunday morning that they were not investigating the event because it was an off-campus location. However, students reported a heavy police presence around campus that night.

The victim said he was shot in the abdomen, but is healing after the bullet went completely through. He said the group of people he was walking with at the time were also robbed, a friend of the victim told Sidelines.

Sidelines has not been able to retrieve any details from police since the shooting was reported.

This story will continue to be updated as details become available.
