Wilson Bank & Trust’s Murfreesboro branch will be giving out $20 in gas to the first 200 customers at the Shell station on the corner of Greenland Avenue and Middle Tennessee Boulevard Friday, Sept. 19 starting at 11 a.m.

Employees from the Lebanon-based bank will personally pump and pay for up to $20 of gas, according to a press release.

Wilson Bank & Trust is doing this to distance themselves from “too-big-to-fail megabanks” by “giving back to the community.”

The street address for the Shell station is 1207 Greenland Ave. People driving down Greenland Friday  morning should expect long lines.

The event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., and will continue until 1. a.m. that night, or until 200 customers have been served.
